Debunking Fleet Readiness: Overused and Undervalued Practices in Military Aviation

Date: September 16, 2021
Time: 11:00 am

In this webinar, we highlight some of the industry misconceptions towards fleet readiness solutions. The United States Military and its major suppliers are rapidly trying to increase Mission Capability Rates across many of their platforms. According to a recent GAO study, from 2011 to 2019, 24 of 46 aircraft types examined did not reach their annual mission-capable goals.

From our thorough experience in this industry, some common approaches initiated for the sake of maximizing aircraft availability are fundamentally flawed. We believe this is part of the reason why platforms still struggle to meet their readiness goals today.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • The principles of Condition Based Maintenance and how it falls short from a Mission Capability perspective
  • What a “Top Degrades” list approach fails to do for fleet readiness
  • A holistic and proven approach to increasing low readiness levels on Military Aircraft
